Good Afternoon, all! I have a friend (sitting next to me at the moment) who is trying to reconnect with her birth family.

I was wondering if those of you who have searched/found your birthfamilies have any suggestions as to how she might start.

She was adopted in California, in 1980, and it was finalized in 1981, again in California. She had contact with her birth mother very briefly in the early 90's and thinks she may be living in the Tacoma Washington area. Her birth father was supposedly living in Arizona.

Do any of you have suggestions about how to go about finding them, or have done searches in those states before?
